It is undoubtedly a stunningly beautiful option when in Port Laoise. The location of the hotel is great, just off shops, bars and restaurants, the surrounding areas and the restaurant. Besides, we loved the lake, located within 15 mins walk of the venue....

Perfect match for a flash visit in Port Laoise with a reasonable price. The farewell from the staff was genuine and heartfelt. Try the room service if the restaurant is busy.

When there was no extra bed for our daughter we were allocated an adjoining room immediately. Pool was good.
Bar was very clinical and lacked character, more restaurant like.

The hotel had nicely renovated facilities.
We had issues with our room's cleanliness and service. Staff seemed poorly trained, leading to confusion during our meal orders. The overall experience felt disorganized, quite disappointing.

The hotel is not what it seems. I received a room with a rather unfortunate bathroom for handicapped people, how generous. Dinner took ages. One main was even missed! All while i eagerly waited for a complimentary gesture or upgrade, which would have been so nice. Almost a nice stay, but just couldn't recommend it.

Reasonable price for one night stay. Staff very friendly.
Very noisy during night. Shower had to figure out how to work it. A little explanation on the wall would have been a help. Could not believe 4 Star hotel would serve hot breakfast dishes on cold plates - no hot plates available.

It all depends on your needs
Staff were friendly and their attentiveness added to the enjoyable atmosphere the menu featured diverse culinary choices making dining a delight.
The bar service fell short during busy times leading to delays and confusion over orders and the pricing seemed rather high for the offerings.

Super cozy family getaway
We had a lovely family trip! The beds were super comfy, and the kids loved the indoor pool. Breakfast was tasty, but we wished there were more options for picky eaters. The staff was really friendly. A bit of a wait for dinner, but worth it for the meal quality.
